Reference USA Company Directory - This is one of the biggest business directories on the market, listing more than 12 million U.S. businesses. Search by company name, yellow page heading, SIC code, geographic location, business phone, business size, and more. Get details like estimated sales, lines of business, credit ratings, and more. Also includes Canadian and US phone listings, healthcare and Canadian business listings. Printing and downloading limit is 25 records for remote use and 50 records for in-library use.
Educational
Facts on File - This educational mega-database is a big help for students in grades 4-12. Find materials for reports and other assignments in 1) Science Experiments On-Line, 2) Science On-Line, 3) American Historical Images, 4) American Women's History, 5) Landmark Documents in American History, 6) African American and American Indian History & Culture, 7) World Atlas with printable maps and 8) Career Profiles. Teachers also can use the Curriculum Resource Center to supplement lesson plans.

EBSCO Health Source: Consumer Edition - This database is one of the richest collections of consumer health information available to libraries. It provides access to nearly 200 full-text consumer health periodicals, including Harvard Health Letter, Men’s Health, Muscle & Fitness, Prevention, Vegetarian Times, and many others. Also included in this database is searchable full text for nearly 1,200 health-related pamphlets and 20 health reference books, such as Stedman’s Medical Dictionary. Coverage begins 1988.

Magazines & Newspapers
EBSCO Magazines & Newspapers - Search for articles and read them in full text. There are close to 3,000 magazines and newspapers indexed in this database, and over 1,900 of them are in full text. Coverage begins in the 1980's. Looking for journal articles (i.e., professional and/or peer-reviewed)? They're available here, too. In addition to magazines and journals, newspapers are also indexed here, but there are few in full text. For full-text newspapers, use the databases Regional Newspapers or Proquest Magazines & Newspapers; these are available in the library.
Regional Newspapers - Search for newspaper articles and read them in full text from the New York Times (last 365 days), Star-Ledger (since 1/96), Bergen Record (since 1/96), Los Angeles Times (since 1/96) and Times of London (since 1/97).
ProQuest Newspapers & Magazines - Search for articles and read them in full text. There are 1,800 periodicals indexed, with many in full text. Full-text time coverage for magazines is generally from 1986 to present. A strength of Proquest is current full-text articles from nine major U.S. newspapers: New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Atlanta Constitution/Atlanta Journal and USA Today.
